Ingredients

  • 2 sprigs fresh parsley, cut in pieces (5 cm)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 100 g onions, quartered
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 20 g plain flour
  • 350 g water
  • 500 g mixed root vegetables (e.g. carrots, celeriac, turnips, see tip), sliced (2 cm)
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
    or fresh rosemary
  • 2 vegetable stock cubes (for 0.5 l each), crumbled
    or 2 heaped tsp vegetable stock paste, homemade
  • ¼ tsp salt, plus extra to taste
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper, plus extra to taste
  • 300 g turkey breast fillet, skinless (see tip), cut in pieces (3 cm)
  • 200 g potatoes, unpeeled, cut in pieces (2 cm)
