  • 100 g tomatoes, cut in halves
  • 80 g onions, cut in halves
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 400 g mixed vegetables (e.g. carrots, turnips, leeks), cut in pieces
  • 2 sprigs fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp salt, adjust to taste
  • ¼ - ½ tsp ground pepper, to taste
  • 600 g water, adjust to taste
  • 20 g butter
    or 20 g olive oil
