  • 800 grams carrots, cut into 3cm chunks or use the Thermomix grater
  • 1 onion, cut iron quarters
  • 3 --- garlic cloves
  • 2 heaped teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons Vegetable stock paste
  • 750 grams water
  • 1/2 cup of red lentils, rinsed and drained
  • sour cream, to serve
